Another completely pointless entry in the cyberspace library

As an aspiring author, I should be using my vast social media influence to urge consumption of my reading material and nothing but MY reading material, after all MY reading material must be the best since I wrote it, right?  At least according to all those self-esteem people who keep telling everyone that they are the best, which makes absolutely no sense, especially in the literary world where I may think a certain work is amazing and you may think it is horrible and vice versa.  I have no use for modern literature as some must have no use for Jane Austen.  That is the fun of literature, everyone can decide what they like and what they don't (unless you are trapped in a ninth grade english class and then you must read what the teacher likes).  I am currently slogging through Middlemarch, and I am as yet undecided if it is worth the effort or not, but let us hope that it is for it is a long book!  Read my books if you like them, read something else if you do not and even if you do, there are many good books out there that should be read, even if they were not written by me!
