Wow, someone wrote this article just so I could share it with you: tea and great books!  I've read 3/5 books on the list and agree that they come highly recommended, the fourth I have enjoyed other works by the author (Little Women) and will have to look into it.  You've got your assignment!

I finally slogged through the entire collection, the revised editions of everything except the 'Sampler Platter' should be out at everywhere except Amazon (which I am even now going to attempt).  The 'Platter' is just too big to wrestle with for any practical reason, so you'll have to take your chances at finding a spelling or grammatical error or ten, else you can find the revised versions elsewhere!
