Fourth of July, must be time for a sale?

It is holiday time again folks (at least here in the states) which means we must be having a sale on lawn mowers, vacuums, shorts, and yes, even e-books!  The modern way to celebrate any holiday is to have a sale; I think we have forgotten what any holiday originally stood for, but now it means we get an additional 23% off of all socks and sneakers!

 So in the spirit of frivolous frivolity, go check out www.smashwords.com for their semi-annual e-books sale. 

My books are either free or 50% off, but you can probably find something far more interesting to read (and always free) over at projectgutenburg.

So busy I can't get anything done!

It is finally summer, and nearly impossible to find time to write!  I thought small children and a full time job made writing difficult, summer only multiplies the impossibility!  I have a few projects in the works (not that anyone would notice if I quietly disappeared or never wrote again), and some century I might even get them done.  But why are you reading this, silly person, you had better go outside and play before winter comes again.

On Fairies

Fairies exist, people just mistake them for butterflies or warblers.  This is the time of year to see any and all of the above.  You had better not be inside reading a book!

A word from your mother

Unless it is pouring rain outside or you live in the Southern Hemisphere and it is currently Winter, you had best go outside and play!  Forget all this silly technology (and yes even your beloved books) and go get some fresh air!

Will read for food?

Dear avid fans (or lost virtual citizens),

Fear not, I am slowly working on more mediocre literary accomplishments with which to clutter cyberspace, but alas, life allows very little time at present for pursuit of the literary arts.  But, in the meantime, if you are an ardent fan or even slightly curious, please feel free to review any of my books that you have had the chance to peruse.  If you are really bored and interested in reading the obscure bleatings of a no-name author, I would be happy to get you a free copy of any of the books if you would be kind enough to review it afterwards.  I enjoy them, but then if an author does not like their own writing, it is high time to visit a mental health professional!
